Heroes: Season 4: Final season of the once promising series released Aug. 3
Max Headroom: The Complete Series: The 1987 series comes to life on DVD Aug. 10. Features Matt Frewer as Max.
Lost: Season 6: The final season of the classic series comes out Aug. 24.

Casting News

Karl Urban (Star Trek) offered the role of Judge Dredd in the next Judge Dredd film.

Cillian Murphy (Inception) set to star in Im.mortal, a film in which immortality can be bought. Directed by Andrews Niccol (Gattaca). The SF drama goes into production in September.

Movie News

Fans the the series Quantum Leap got a big boost at Comic.con when Scott Bakula, star of the early '90s series tipped fans that series creator Donald P. Bellisario is writing a screenplay for an interested Hollywood producer. If true, this would be yet another TV series that has been repackaged for the next generation.

Robert Emmerich directs Foundation for Sony Pictures. Based in Isaac Asimov's novels of the same name.

Variety is reporting that MGM is bringing The Outer Limits to the big screen. Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan (both of Saw fame) have been tapped as screenwriters.
